We cordially invite you to attend the 2022 Midwest Automotive Media Association Spring Rally, which will take place on May 25 and 26, with a welcome dinner to be held on the evening of May 24. Below are some important notes to help you plan your travel arrangements.
ARRIVAL AND ACCOMMODATIONS
We will once again be staying at the Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake, Wisc.
If you are joining us for the first time, please note that the Osthoff Resort is a suite property, which means you will have a roommate. However, each guest in a suite will have his/her own bedroom and bathroom. If you have a roommate preference, please indicate this on your registration form, and we will try to accommodate you.
Register by May 1, 2022 to ensure accommodations are reserved for you.
WHAT’S NEW
For 2022 we are expanding our off-road driving to include a full day on Day 1 to give you more opportunity to test the ever-growing group of off-road-capable trucks, SUVs, and crossovers.
REGISTRATION FEE
This year’s registration fee for the Spring Rally is $75. This will include all meals, the Siebkens afterglow and two nights at the Osthoff.
Reminder: This invite is for you, a media member, and you only. Please do not bring along friends, significant others, children, non-member photographers, etc. All who attend must be paid-in-full media members in good standing. Any non-member, non-registered guests will be refused entry to the Road America grounds. If you have questions, please ask first.

Please note: If you are driving a rally car to or from the event, it will not be released to leave Road America until after the program concludes at 1:30 p.m. on May 26.
SOCIAL MEDIA:
We will be having a social media contest this year, with awesome prizes awarded at the final lunch on Day 2 (must be present to win). So please use the official hashtag of #MAMA22SR to be considered.
HEALTH AND WELLNESS
While we will not be requiring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test at the 2022 MAMA Spring Rally, we will be following all CDC guidelines regarding large gatherings. We encourage all members to get vaccinated and take a rapid antigen test the day before leaving for the rally. Free tests are available at covidtest.gov. If you test positive, please stay home. We will update you on masking and any other potential requirements the week before the rally.
JAMES L. MATEJA SCHOLARSHIP DONATIONS
MAMA established the James L. Mateja Scholarship in 2018 to honor the legacy of the legendary automotive journalist and our first President. Jim was not only a fearless voice in the industry but also a mentor to so many. This scholarship helps aspiring journalists cover the cost of their education at The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
