Join the Midwest Automotive Media Association (MAMA) and the Chicago Automobile Trade Association (CATA), producer of the Chicago Auto Show, to learn more about the 2021 Chicago Auto Show special edition, the steps show organizers are taking to be allowed to open to the masses, the economic impact this major event will have on the city and details for members of the media, including Media Preview information and where to go to gather press materials and assets surrounding the show.
Following the presentation, we will open it up for a live Q&A with Chicago Auto Show General Manager Dave Sloan.
The summertime special edition show will be held July 15-19 at McCormick Place. The show is moving to the West Building of the venue and will take advantage of outdoor space along Indiana Avenue, which is immediately adjacent to the West Building. The Media Preview will take place a day prior to the show opening, July 14. This show marks one of McCormick Place’s first live, in-person events since the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown.
MAMA is also planning a special Chicago Welcome Media Reception – outdoors, weather permitting! – the afternoon of the Media Preview on July 14. All media in attendance are welcome. Please stay tuned for more details and exact timing.
